Refund & Cancellation Policy

Short version: All premium subscription payments are non-refundable. You can cancel your subscription at any time, and premium features will remain active until the end of your current billing period.
No Refund Policy
All payments for Arlong Premium subscriptions (Pass, Golden Pass) are final and non-refundable. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Monthly subscription fees
- Yearly subscription fees
- Trial period conversions to paid subscriptions
Once a payment is processed, we do not issue refunds for any reason, including dissatisfaction with the service, accidental purchases, or non-use of premium features.
Subscription Cancellation
You can cancel your premium subscription at any time. Cancellation stops future billing but does not result in a refund for the current period.
How to cancel
- Via the customer portal: Log in to your Arlong account, go to Settings, and click "Manage Subscription." From there you can cancel your Paddle subscription directly.
- Via Paddle's customer portal: Paddle sends a receipt email for every payment. That email contains a link to manage your subscription (cancel, update payment method, etc.).
- By email: Send a cancellation request to ahilan290@gmail.com from the email address associated with your Paddle subscription.
What happens after cancellation
- Your premium features remain active until the end of the current billing period (month or year).
- After the period ends, your account reverts to the free tier (24 searches per day + 25 bonus searches).
- Your account, search history, and community contributions (votes, comments) are not affected.
- You can re-subscribe at any time.
Trial Periods
The Golden Pass plan offers a 3-day free trial. If you cancel during the trial period, you will not be charged. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be automatically charged for the subscription and our no-refund policy applies.
Payment Failed
If your payment method fails to process:
- Paddle will automatically retry the payment up to 5 times over the following days.
- You will receive email notifications from Paddle about the failed payment.
- If payment remains unsuccessful, your subscription will be paused. You can update your payment method and resume the subscription via Paddle's customer portal (linked in the email notifications).
