How we evaluate websites and how your site gets in
Submit your website to our index
We evaluate websites for inclusion in our search results. Unlike mainstream search engines, we don't accept paid submissions, SEO bribes, or sponsored placements. Every site is manually reviewed against strict quality criteria.
To submit your website:
Email: ahilan290@gmail.com
Reddit: u/PeaceThrough
Include your domain name, a brief description of what your site offers, and why it belongs in a search index that prioritizes quality over SEO.
What we look for
- Original content. No AI-generated articles, spun content, or scraped material. Every page must be written by a human who knows what they're talking about.
- Substantive value. The page should teach, explain, document, analyze, or create something. A 300-word SEO blog with affiliate links doesn't count.
- Attribution. If you reference sources, link to them. If you use someone else's work, credit them. Plagiarism is an immediate rejection.
- Working site. No dead links, no broken layouts, no malware. Your site should load in under 5 seconds on a standard connection.
- Contact info. A working email, about page, or some way for users to reach you. Anonymous drive-by sites are not accepted.
What gets rejected
- AI-generated or LLM-stuffed content (detected and rejected by our content quality scanner)
- Affiliate-only sites with no original research or opinion
- Clickbait, listicles with no substance, and "top 10" articles that don't actually compare anything
- Sites with auto-playing video, pop-up ads, or paywall interruptions
- Content farms, scraped aggregators, and re-hosted tutorials
- Sites that require JavaScript to read text content
- Domains registered less than 6 months ago (unless exceptional quality)
- Any site with malware, tracking scripts, or crypto miners
- Adult content, gambling, payday loans, or dark patterns
Evaluation process
- Step 1. We review your submission within 7 business days
- Step 2. We manually audit 3-5 pages from your site
- Step 3. If accepted, your domain is added to our crawl list with a starting score based on our quality assessment
- Step 4. If rejected, we'll tell you why. You may resubmit after addressing the issues.
How we evaluate websites
Every result in our search engine is scored across multiple signals. Here is exactly what goes into that score and how you can optimize your site for it -- without SEO manipulation.
Scoring factors
- Title match (24%). Does your page title contain the search query? Exact matches at the start of the title rank highest. Generic titles like "Home" or "Blog" score near zero.
- Snippet relevance (18%). Are the search terms present in your meta description or first paragraph? Term proximity matters -- clustered matches beat scattered ones.
- Domain authority (16%). Established domains with a history of quality content score higher. New domains start low and earn trust over time.
- Content quality (12%). We detect AI-generated text, keyword stuffing, affiliate-heavy writing, and low-effort content. These are penalized, sometimes down to zero.
- Freshness (10%). Recent content gets a boost. Pages updated within the last 6 months score full points. Older pages gradually lose freshness value.
- Category relevance (7%). Is your page the right type of result for the query? A tutorial for "how to" queries, a discussion for "vs" queries, etc.
- Reddit boost (7%). Only applies to discussion queries. Real Reddit threads with community engagement get a boost. Sites that scrape or repost Reddit content get penalized.
- URL quality (6%). Clean, readable URLs score higher. URLs with tracking parameters, session IDs, or random strings score lower.
There is nothing you can "optimize" here except writing genuinely useful content. We specifically designed the scoring to resist SEO gaming -- keyword stuffing, excessive internal linking, and AI-generated fluff all trigger negative scores.
Advertising policy
arlong offers limited banner advertisements on the homepage portal only. This policy describes how advertising works and what is and is not permitted.
Where ads appear
Advertisements are displayed in the banner section of the homepage portal (naver.com-inspired layout). Ads never appear in search results, search result pages, or any other part of the service.
Our "Renting" model

- Price: $0.30 per hour (e.g., 24 hours = $7.20, 7 days = $50.40)
- Ad dimensions: 560×110 pixels (wide banner format)
- Payment: PayPal
What is permitted
- Business, product, and brand promotion
- Event announcements and awareness campaigns
- Non-profit and community initiatives
- Static image banners only (no video, no audio, no animations)
What is prohibited
- NSFW, adult, or sexually suggestive content
- Cryptocurrency, NFT, or crypto-related promotions
- Illegal products, services, or activities
- Malware, phishing, or deceptive links
- Gambling or payday loan promotions
- Tracking pixels, cookies, or data collection scripts
- Political or religious advocacy
- Auto-redirects or pop-up behavior
Ad review process
Every advertisement is manually reviewed by an admin before going live. The process is:
- Submit your ad via the Ad Maker panel (login required)
- Admin reviews the image and destination URL
- If approved, you make payment to ahilan290@gmail.com
- Send payment proof — once confirmed, your ad goes live for the selected duration
